The All Progressive Congress, (Rivers chapter) has created a registration centre for those seeking for an employment and empowerment. This was contained in a statement signed by Somiari Ogolo Esq.
the statement reads 
"This is to inform all APC members/supporters in Rivers State, within the age bracket of 18 - 35 years to participate in the Federal Government N-Power Programme through an APC sponsored E-Registration Scheme.
N-Power is a job creation and empowerment initiative of the Social Investment Programme of the Federal Government of Nigeria. N-Power is designed to help young Nigerians acquire and develop life-long skills to become solution providers in their communities and to become players in the
domestic and global markets.
•N-Power Knowledge – 25,000 non-graduates
•N-Power Build- 75,000 non-graduates
Who can apply? The N-Power programme is for all eligible Nigerians looking to work gainfully. However, the initial programmes have been designed for young Nigerians between the ages of 18 and 35.Please note that the APC leadership in Rivers State has provided a free E-registration centre at the Party Secretariat, Old GRA, Port Harcourt. You are advised to come along with photocopies of the following credentials/particulars:
*O'level certificate
*LGA Identification Certificate
*Curriculum Vitae
*Degree Certificate (Graduates)
*NYSC Certificate (Graduates)
* One Passport photograph with your name boldly written behind it.
Date: Registration commences on Monday 13th June, 2016
Time: 8am - 4pm
Venue: APC State Party Secretariat, Forces Avenue, Old GRA, Port Harcourt.

Vickoria Wobo Nyeche kicks against Wike's obvious illegality Drama, as Hon. Victoria Wobo Nyeche(APC), member of the Rivers State House of Assembly, representing Port Harcourt Constituency 1, staged a walkout of the Assembly Chamber because she would not like to be associated with obvious illegality. When asked why she walked out, she said that they were billed to sit yesterday but only 7 in a 32-member House showed up for the sitting and as a responsible lawmaker and representative, she had to raise a point of order, pointing out that 7 out of 32 members couldn't constitute 1/3 for quorum but was ruled out of order by the Speaker.
