Just a few weeks away from the proclamation of the 10th National Assembly, a group known as Newdawn Caucus Members in the House of Representatives has reiterated the need for adequate legislation in transforming Nigeria.   The convener of the group, Hon. Marcus Onobun after a strategic meeting with newly elected lawmakers from all political platforms said the group is to ensure and equip all Members of the 10th Assembly in achieving their aims and objectives.  Addressing lawmakers, the group's convener congratulated the Speaker of the 10th national assembly, Hon. APC postpones sale of nomination/expression forms indefinitely, sacks directors

Report indicates that the new leadership of the party has also sent all the six directors at the APC National Secretariat, Abuja on compulsory leave. It was gathered that the rescheduling of the sale of forms was informed by the inability of the contractor handling the printing of the forms to deliver on time. At the close of work yesterday, the APC Directorate of Organisation was yet to take delivery of the forms. The calendar is consists of political activities bordering the 2023 presidential and gubernatorial elections in the country. According to the calendar released by the INEC, starting from March 2022 the commission will give guidelines to the respective parties to conduct primary election that will birth flag bearers.
