Amaechi calls for sober reflection, assures Nigerians to hope on God amidst the outbreak of Covid-19


The minister for transportation, Hon Chibuike Amaechi has charged Nigerians to use the Easter Celebration to exhibit love,
forgiveness and humility.

The minister in a message accredited to him appealed to Christians to also use this period and make necessary sacrifice that will keep all safe and secured for tomorrow.

Reacting on the wide spread of Covid-19, he averred that "God lies the solution to our worries".

"I want to let you know that I stand with everyone working to ensure that we defeat Coronavirus. This deadly pandemic is real & does not discriminate.
These difficult, challenging & anxious times will test our faith & resolve, but we must remember that in God lies the  solution to all our worries. As we work together to beat this deadly virus, let us remain strong & resolute in our belief that God is still on the throne. As Christians celebrate the Crucifixion & rise of our lord Jesus Christ, with hearts filled with love, peace, humility & forgiveness; no matter the challenges of today, in the spirit of Easter, I appeal that we make the necessary sacrifices that will keep us safe & secure our tomorrow.

The Nigeria's Police Force, Rivers command has dismissed claims made by governor Nyesom Wike recently. Just see what happened to a drunken policeman The attention of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim K. Idris NPM mni, has been drawn to a video of Lagos policeman who got drunk at Akowonjo, Dopemu area of Lagos state. He therefore directed the state Commissioner of Police, CP Imohimi Edgal to fish out the erring policeman for appropriate  disciplinary action. The policeman who was stupefied after guzzling  large quantity of alcoholic beverage was located and apprehended today 07/11/2018 at Police Mobile Force Squadron 22 Base, Ikeja, where he served by the Command Provost.
