Watch out for the next world best in FBS - Maimuna Reveals


A Nigerian woman, Maimuna Sagir at the Famaks British School Abuja has thrown the world and sport lovers into what could be termed as good news as she said world best athletes could emanate in the nearest future from FBS.



During their school's 2020 Inter- House Sports over the weekend at the Old Parade Ground Abuja, Mrs. Sagir who doubles as the wife of the C.E.O reiterated that FBS is a standard place where they teach, train and educate future leaders to compete locally and international.
She said aside from training their students to be academically sound they also engage them on regular sports activities and exercises.

According to her, "Famaks British School is a place where we give standard education that is satisfying the need of the nation and to the world as a whole."

Reacting to a question on her assessments towards the students performances in sports, she said
"These children you are seeing here, you should watch out for the next Usain Bolts, David Bekams, watch out for Roja Fedra etc... the zeal, the courage; everything is just here."

                                   

Highlights of the event were different competitions by students and pupils which brought parents, guardians relatives from all works of life.

AMAC chapter of NULGE set to conduct election

All is now set for the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) branch of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) election. The election is expected to take place on Thursday 27th 2020 at the AMAC  conference Hall in Abuja. Moses Jonathan  The outgoing chairman Comrade Moses Jonathan, while speaking to newsmen confirmed that all has been put in place for the smooth flow of the election including that of heavey security presence.  He urged all AMAC staff to come out en-mass and vote leaders of their choice that will pilot the activities of the union in the next few years and as well adequately protect them.  In continuing, he tasked contestants not to see the election as a do or die affairs but a call to service, He further advised whoever that emerges to embrace every member of the union and work in unity.
