 NDDC Unveils Plans to Partner with Security Agencies

The Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Prof Nelson Brambaifa has said the  Commission shall partner with security agencies to ensure the stability of security in the region.

Prof. Nelson Brambaifa made this known while receiving Rear Admiral Akinjide Akinrinade, Commander of Joint Task Force, Delta Safe.

According to a statement made available by the Special Assistant on Media to the Acting  Managing Director, Nancy Stephens Ijaopo, who further disclosed that the NDDC promised to commence the construction of access roads in Yenagoa and build modern Police Headquarter in Bayelsa state.


On his part, Rear Admiral Akinjide commended the NDDC for its performance within a short period of time especially in the area of infrastructural development and youth empowerment promising that his unit which comprises the Army, Navy and Airforce will ever be ready to partner with the NDDC to provide security in the region.
