See what Mrs. Tatua predicts about governor Wikes  re-election

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC, Mrs Ibifuro Tatua has opened up on why Governor Nyesome Wike will not return back for a second tenure as governor of Rivers State.

Mrs. Tatua when giving her predictions, said Rivers people were sick and tired of going through some excruciating pains rising from insecurity, lack of job creation and that of poor infrastructural developments; which she alleged was mainly caused by the incumbent state government.

According to her "The people have said clearly what they want and God has decreed it also. Wike is a threat to the nation's democracy. He is not the type of governor Rivers people want for a second term. He will go down in history as a governor that concentrated on white elephant projects, exacerbation of the security crisis and withdrawing financial aide to Rivers State students abroad" she opined.

Addressing party stalwarts, and coordinators of the Tonye Cole 2019 Volunteer Group in Port Harcourt over the weekend,  Tatua praised the APC governorship candidate for his efforts at charting a new course for Rivers people.

In her views "Rivers  State needs a man of integrity, character and vision. Rivers State needs someone who understands our people.

She said such candidate is no other person than Tonye Cole, stressing that "he has character and integrity . He will pay attention to people with disabilities, embark on general reforms, revolutionize social infrastructure. Particularly roads, basic health care, potable water, functional educational system and healthy ecosystem"

"The business man and governorship hopeful has the decency to live above board. He will respect the autonomy of the Rivers State House of Assembly, make state's development more inclusive and put the poor first. He will also focus on education, the economy, poverty reduction and empowerment "

Tatua, who also doubles as the Convener, Tonye Cole Volunteer Group, told the large crowd that Cole's interest in the governorship was not based on selfish reasons but to bring about a better Rivers State.

She further said Arch. Tonye Cole's candidature and that of president  Mohammadu Buhari was a good combination for the Rivers people.##
