FRDI Boss Bags Uniport's Alumni Award


The President General of Free Rivers, Engr. Sampson Ngerebara, Bagged an Award of Excellence and Patriotism from Unique Uniport Alumni Association.

The University of Port Harcourt Alumni Association, has honoured the President General of Free Rivers and former National President of University of Port Harcourt Alumni Association, Engr. Sampson Ngerebara was honoured with an Award of Excellence and Patriotism at the presidential Hotel, Port Harcourt, today 18th of Dec., 2017.

Presenting the award, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics, University of Port Harcourt, Prof. Hakeem B. Feahinmi, thanked the awardee for been consistent and responding positively in all the programs of the Alumni. In his remarks, he said " it is my humble advice that other alumnus should emulate the life of Engr. Sampson Ngerebara, who, despite all odds, has been responding positively to the problems of the Alumni Association without looking for any pecuniary gain and instead, invested his money and time". He thanked the awardee and urged him not to relent on his assistance to humanity which is the bedrock of a Godly life.

Responding on the award, the President General of Free Rivers and former National President of the Alumni Association, Engr. Sampson Ngerebara, ably represented by the Secretary General of Free Rivers and former Caretaker Committee Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area, Chibike Ikenga, thanked the Alumni for remembering his hard work and honoured him with an award. He promised to do more for the Alumni anytime his assistance is needed.
He also advised the Executive members to make sure they reach out to other Alumnus, as that's the only way the Alumni will grow.
