Breaking: APC takes over home of former PDP speaker in Rivers

Drama as the All Progressive Congress staged their ward rally at Andoni Local Government Area, in Ataba town where the former speaker to Rivers State House of assembly hails from.

According to our source who witnessed the scene said, it was about 01:00pm on saturday after the APC held its meeting at the various ward level in Ataba town.

It was gathered that not quite long, the whole village came out enmass jubilating for what they term as 'victory for APC' in the forth coming rerun.

Addressing the newsmen was the APC party chairman, Davies Ikanya, who said the APC as a party is sure of emerging victorious in Andoni.
He said Ataba does not belong to 'Ikunyi'  stressing that it also belong to APC, and its chieftains including him.

Earlier, Mr. Ikanya frowned at the poor level of development at Ataba, noting that it was as a result of bad representation from the former law maker who represented them.

He however added that he came to Ataba just to see that the people are being represented properly.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr. Boss Mustapha, stated this Saturday night in Lagos at the third edition of the annual Corporate Dinner and Merit Awards organised by the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA). Amaechi said the government was focused on the establishment of a strong intermodal transport system that would facilitate seamless movement of goods and people and drastically reduce the cost of transportation and business, generally. "... 2023 Presidency must swing South is a wise arrangement that must be left sacrosanct" -Fola Ojo

Wrote Fola Ojo IF Nigeria were a society where ethnic bigotry and tribal dogmatism do not cheaply overrun and almost eviscerate commonsensical rational thinking and open-mindedness, the discussion about what region or geopolitical zone the next president should come from in 2023 wouldn’t have attracted my flimsiest attention. If mutual distrust and bruised co-existential relationship sincerely do not exist among Nigerians positioned high or low, who becomes the presidential charge-d’affaires should have been freely weighed strictly around a candidate’s competence and savviness to govern and administer free and easy without a hamper from invisible shackles that come with governance. If top political portfolios in the country and high-ranking seats in juicy offices like the NNPC, Customs , and the likes were dished out based exclusively on pedigreed credentials, and not the village aspirers for those positions  come from, I wouldn’t have chosen to join in the debate about whether the...
