According to our source who witnessed the scene said, it was about 01:00pm on saturday after the APC held its meeting at the various ward level in Ataba town.

It was gathered that not quite long, the whole village came out enmass jubilating for what they term as 'victory for APC' in the forth coming rerun.

Addressing the newsmen was the APC party chairman, Davies Ikanya, who said the APC as a party is sure of emerging victorious in Andoni.
He said Ataba does not belong to 'Ikunyi'  stressing that it also belong to APC, and its chieftains including him.

Earlier, Mr. Ikanya frowned at the poor level of development at Ataba, noting that it was as a result of bad representation from the former law maker who represented them.

He however added that he came to Ataba just to see that the people are being represented properly.
