Edo State: APC Makes Move to Silence PDP

The National Organising Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Osita Izunaso (left) handing over relevant documents for the 2016 Edo State governorship election primaries to the Chairman of the Election Committee, Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari at the Party’s National Secretariat on Thursday.The All Progressives Congress (APC), has finalized plans to nominate a gubernetorial flagbearer for the forth coming Edo state election holding in September 2016. Sen. Osita Izunaso on Thursday at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja diclosed it to journalists that 2873 delegates would be electing the party’s governorship candidate for the primaries scheduled in 18th of June at the Edo State capital, Benin City.
On the his part, the party’s Deputy National Chairman (South), Chief Segun Oni in compliance has also inaugurated a seven-member election committee and three-member election appeal committee for the 2016 Edo State governorship election primaries.
Members of the communitee includes, Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari (chaiman), Hon. Andrew Uchendu (Secretary); Hon. Yusuf Maianguwa, Dr. Tunde Esan, Alhaji Shuaibu Musa, Alhaji Ibrahim Soja and Mr. Amara Iwuanyanwu.
For the election appeal committee; Hon. Opeyemi Bamidele (chairman), Alhaji Mustapha Salisu and Mrs. Ekwy Onyido.
Hon. Bello Masari stressed that the committee in its transpiracy has no preferred candidate, noting that the it will ensure Justice and fairness to all the contestants in away of giving them a level play ground.

President Buhari takes corruption war to U.S
