NDDC DONATES SCHOOL ITEMS TO UPE ABULOMA As part of its drive to create conducive learning environment and to strengthen education in the region, the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC has distribution sets of school desks and chairs to UPE Model Primary School 1 & 2, Abuloma. The facilities which arrived today is said to be the first batch since the acting NDDC board was constituted in 2019. Presenting the items was the Acting Executive Director of Finance and Administration Mr. Oyirinda Amadi, who was represented by Dame Ibifuro Thompson Tatua, SA on Community Affairs to the Acting MD NDDC, she said the items delivered was in fulfillment of the promise made to the Amayanabo and his people during an earlier visit to the palace. According to her, "In line with the core mandates of the NDDC, we have come to present this first batch of school desks and chairs to UPE Model Primary School, Abuloma, in partial fulfilment of our promise to you during our earlier visit

GFGG CONDNMS INEC ELECTION POSTPONEMENT CANVASS SUPPORT FOR PDP. A Group known as Greassroot for good Goverance (GFGG) has expressed disappointment over postponement of the 2019 general election on the day of the election describing it as a national embarrassment.  This was contained on a communiqué issued by the group after a critical assesnment of the issues that led to the election postpoment shorty after their meeting on Monday in Port Harcourt. The communique which was duly signed by the GFGG National coordinator, Pimcess Joy Kanu and it's Rivers State coordinator ,Levi Kenaam stated that Inec should render an unreserved apology to Nigerians and international community for their  high level of incompetence . The state also urge Inec to engage Nigerians on the reasons for postponement, assuring them that the commission will adhere strictly to reversed timeline for the rescheduled polls. . Just see how a JSS1 student died this February THIS is Emmanuel Chukwuebuka Nnanna , a Jss 1 student at Dennis Memorial Grammar School Onitsha, A native of Oburo Ogwa in mbaitoli LGA, Imo state.     He died on Tuesday 12th February 2019 by a large stone thrown to crush his head from the school dormitory window by his fellow envious student. This happened after school hours,  the victim was said to finished eating in the school cafeteria, fetched water with his gallon  kept  the water in his corner and came outside to play football.  He met two students playing football, asked if he can join them and the two boys playing the football told him to wait for they are playing turn by turn . Oyirinda reacts over impersonation The attention of Chris Oyirinda Amadi's media team has been drawn to some fraudsters impersonating to be Oyirinda with a social media handle bearing the same name. According to a statement made available by Priestly Nna "We have been apprised of the activities of some fraudsters parading as the Acting EDFA NDDC, OYIRINADA AMADI and using the Facebook account; OYIRINDA CHRIST AMADI" or other similar accounts to defraud innocent and unsuspecting members of the public. See why INEC will postpone Rivers Election as disclosed by Princewill Following on the heels of back to back stays of execution recently granted the APC in Rivers state and the wild jubilations that erupted across the state, the APC Director of Strategic Communications for the Tonye Cole Campaign, Prince Tonye T.J.T Princewill has laughed at the possibility of elections holding in Rivers state without the APC and its candidates, saying that it would be an exercise in futility. He made the assertion in an interactive session with journalists where he was reacting to INEC’s suggestion that APC is not yet on the ballot. “Of course we are not yet on the ballot, it’s a process.
