NDDC Records Milestone Partnerships with UK Varsities The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, says it is consolidating its existing partnerships with universities in the United Kingdom to ensure that the Commission gets more value for its human capital development programmes. Speaking after a five-day working visit to some universities in the United Kingdom where NDDC scholars are undergoing post-graduate studies, Acting Managing Director, Prof. Nelson Brambaifa, said it was important "to find out the challenges scholars are facing in their various institutions in order to resolve them." Amaechi pleges to create more employment opportunities via Rail Way Sector Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, has explained that the rush to complete the Lagos-Ibadan railway project is because the federal government wants to decongest the gridlock in Lagos as well as the Lagos seaport. Amaechi said once the Lagos-Ibadan railway is completed, cargoes would be transported on the train , a development he said would solve the problem of gridlocks and congestions at the Lagos seaport. Names of the victims are;  1.Mgbibari Nyornyaa. 2.Sira Mgbibari 3.Boy Mgbibari 4.Sorlesi Youngman 5.Dornu Aanu 6.Bariagra Menebe 7.Lekia Eleaee. According to Romeo Nwabueze, they found charm/juju which was allegedly done by a lady on her man and his mother and thrown into the sea. Sad! 3 Male students dies during sex  Report reaching News Pointers  has that three male adults  alleged to be students of Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO)  have died on a sex romp. According to a source who spoke unanimously said the  incident happened at Ihiagwa when the trio Ugochukwu Kingsley, Aka Uche and one Richard, jointly brought a girl to their room and  mixed tramadol, codeine and vodka ( Kai Kai) together, and after taking them, they took turns in having sex with the girl, named Onyinyechi Okafor. This ugly incident happened inside a room at Sunshine Hostel, Umuchima. Two of the young men died in the process while the girl and one other boys became unconscious. The two of them were taken to the hospital and the third boy reportedly died there. Their naked bodies have since been retrieved by the police, while the unconscious one which happens to be the girl is currently fighting for her dear life at the hospital. More details loading!

Fresh Crisis in Rivers as Anabs, NGOs and others Rejects INEC Result Collation A foremost elder statesman Anabs Sara-Igbe and coalitions of Non Governmental Organizations  has rejected the onward collation of results by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC. Addressing a large crowd  in a mega protest held  in Port Harcourt, Anabs Sara-Igbe maintained that the entire collation process should be canceled with  immediate effect, and INEC should conduct a fresh Election following their inability to do the right thing. In his views, he called on President Mohammadu Buhari to intervene stressing that what is happening in Rivers state is beyond autocracy alleging that both the incumbent governor of the state and  INEC are playing games. The elder statesman who also doubles as the spokesperson to Pan -Niger Delta Forum   also noted that the results being collated by INEC will not stand in as much as INEC did comprised.
