What Tinubu did after Rivers people voted for him

The Rivers state coordinator, Nigeria Youth Movement for Asiwaju, Mr. Ima-owaji Shedrack has commended the president elect His Excellency, Bola Amed Tinubu for finding time to appreciate Rivers people for voting him at the just concluded general election.
Mr. Ima-owaji Shedrack during the commissioning of projects said Rivers people are elated aligning with the ruling party for the development of the state and nation Nigeria. Speaking further, he charged Nigerians to always sue for peace and national unity as a new president will assume office in May 29th 2023, adding that without it there cannot be development.###

What seems to be unprecedented was captured in Rivers State as thousands of indigenes from all works of life staged a peaceful protests against governor Nyesome Ezenwo Wike at his residence beside government house in William Jumbo. According to the placards of the protesters, they accused the governor for threatening the life of an INEC staff in an audio tape, alleging that the governor was responsible for all the killings and most misfortunes in the state. When addressing the press, the 2015 deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Asita O. Asita, said a lot of things led to the peaceful protest. He said some of them include an audio tape which governor was caught threatening an INEC staff and that of the governor's request to transfer some key security men that refuse to accept bribe. Meanwhile, when contacted governor Wike he said, he will not be distracted by such issues, stressing that he has a focus on achieving some developmental strides in the state...

A top stakeholder in the All Progressive Congress has said there is no factional chairman in the party ahead of the forth coming national convention.   Mr. Bashir Gegu told newsmen shortly after the caretaker chairman His excellency governor Bala Buni inaugurated thirty-six state chairmen and that of the Federal capital Territory at the party's National secretariat, at Abuja. He said those complaining of factional chairman in the party are not real members but mole stressing that the party has concluded elections for state executives in 2021.
