What Tinubu did after Rivers people voted for him

The Rivers state coordinator, Nigeria Youth Movement for Asiwaju, Mr. Ima-owaji Shedrack has commended the president elect His Excellency, Bola Amed Tinubu for finding time to appreciate Rivers people for voting him at the just concluded general election.

Mr. Ima-owaji Shedrack during the commissioning of projects said Rivers people are elated aligning with the ruling party for the development of the state and nation Nigeria. Speaking further, he charged Nigerians to always sue for peace and national unity as a new president will assume office in May 29th 2023, adding that without it there cannot be development.###

The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, has awarded scholarships to university level to all seven children of Sergeant Chukwudi Iboko, the policeman who lost his life while courageously aborting an armed robbery attack on a bank in Owerri, Imo State, last year. The Managing Director of the Commission, Mr. Nsima Ekere, announced this on Saturday after receiving the Public Service Award at the Sun Awards in Lagos. He also announced the donation of one million naira to the family of the deceased who was equally honoured at the award ceremony as the Nigerian Hero of the Year.
