Rivers people rejects governor Wike ahead of 2019

The governor of River State, Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike in recent times have been rejected by some Rivers people over contesting again as the governor ahead of 2019. According to an exclusive interview surrouding issues affecting the APC and Nigeria, a top Rivers man Tonye T.J.T Princewill explained bitterly on why Rivers people will never support wike for a second term bid in office. Excerpts from Wale Olapade's interview  What did you see in the All Progressives Congress (APC)? Why did you join the party? There are three key reasons. The first is local. In Rivers State, I have the misfortune to have a man called Nyesom Wike serving as my governor. If the opposition is asleep, my children run the risk of explaining him to their friends for another four years. I don’t want that. They don’t want that. Uniting all the opposition to Wike makes sense. That’s why I’m in APC. All the sticks joined makes a broom. PDP used our anger against Amaechi as a cover to sneak Wike into Brick House.

They were dispossessing the passengers of their valuables when operatives of the Ninth Mile Police Division of the Enugu State Police Command, who got wind of the development, confronted them. It was learnt that a gun duel ensued between the armed robbers and the police. Four of the hoodlums were eventually arrested after the gun battle while two others escaped.
