Just in! Thousands of Andonians to benefit free M/treatment

All is now set for the commencment of free medical Health care in Andoni Local Goverment Area.
The free medical care organized by Dr. Dressman Good Health Foundation, is expected to treat all those in the ANOLGA starting from Ataba today.
According to a statement from Dr. Otogwung Romnsan Dressman, the exercise will begin on sunday the 27th of November 2016 and span through the week.
The statement however enjoins residents living in Andoni to come out in their numbers as team of medical expert will be on ground checking their health.

INEC Releases Timelines for the Collation and Declaration of Rivers Governorship Election INEC will hold security meeting in Rivers state on 29 March. CRITICAL STAKEHOLDERS meeting on 30th of March. Resumption of collation and announcement of results to hold 2 April 2019. It will hold between April 2 and 5. There will be revalidation of polling agents and observers. Resumption of collation to start on 2 to 5th April 2019. The venue of the Collation will be agreed by critical stakeholders. Should there be need for Supplementary Elections, it will hold on the 13th April, 2019.

NDDC Restores Failed Okigwe-Arondizuogu-Akokwa Road

The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, has through its emergency interventions restored the failed sections of the Okigwe-Arondizuogu-Akokwa Road in Ideato Local Government Area of Imo State. Speaking after inspecting the major federal highway linking Imo and Abia states, the Chairman of the NDDC Governing Board, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, SAN, promised that more kilometres would be added to the project to connect several other communities. The NDDC Chairman was accompanied on the inspection by the Commission’s Executive Director Projects, Engr. Dr Samuel Adjogbe, FNSE; Imo State Representative on the NDDC Board, Hon Chuka Ama-Nwauwa, and other directors of the Commission.
